OEG Offshore is delighted to announce the appointment of a new Group QHSE Manager to support our commitment to the continual improvement of QHSE performance and sustainability.
Hazel Paterson will advise on all aspects of QHSE and oversee compliance with international and regional requirements in accordance with the latest HSE regulations as well as develop strategies to minimise the impact our business has on the external environment and society. With over 10 years’ experience in quality and safety, Hazel will work closely with each regional team to operate robust QHSE management systems to meet legislative and customer requirements for the supply of offshore cargo carrying units, A60 cabins and associated services.
Hazel Comments “This is a great opportunity for me to work with a leading offshore CCU supplier who want to drive sustainable operational practices to optimise greater safety, reliability and efficiency. I’m looking forward to implementing initiatives covering health and safety, service, environmental and social awareness along with quality across the OEG network.”
Hazel wasted no time in her new role and launched a waste reduction campaign ‘Crisps for Helimed 79’ at OEG’s Aberdeen bases, concentrating on crisp packet recycling, (a notoriously difficult product to recycle) to raise funds for Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) and their second air ambulance helicopter, Helimed 79, soon to be operational out of Aberdeen International Airport.
Hazel is based at OEG Offshore’s global headquarters in Aberdeen and has previously worked for Emerson, a global technology and engineering group.
